Notatnik Teatralny

“Notatnik Teatralny” [Theatre Notebook] is one of the most important Polish theatre magazines, focusing on the Polish contemporary theatre. It was established in 1991 by Krzysztof Mieszkowski, who is also the editor-in-chief of the magazine. The publication of “Notatnik Teatralny” ceased in 2018, but it returned to circulation in 2022 thanks to a new publisher – Wrocław Literature House. The quarterly proposes views on the contemporary theatre, describes the current theatre life (following generations of young directors), observes and comments upon aesthetic changes, explains ideas organising the creative process today. It also presents texts of new dramas. The magazine is accompanied by a website notatnikteatralny.pl.
